The Color Purple and Other Feminist Lies

Feminists Kill Children

A disturbing article was shared with me recently:  How My Mother's Fanatical Views Tore Us Apart by Rebecca Walker.  I couldn't even finish the article initially without becoming overwhelmingly heartsick (and physically sick) at the devastation feminism has done; both to the author of that article, women in general, and society as a whole.

Many will look at the picture of the woman on the right and consider her to be a revolutionary.  An insightful & inspirational poet.  A trailblazer for women's rights.  This is certainly how my college portrayed her.  Not only had she attended my alma mater, but Spelman College listed many of Dr. Alice Walker's works as required reading.  Her ideologies permeated the curriculum and attitude of that women's only institution.  Our minds were being molded, but molded to be what?

As a child I remember reading Dr. Walker's book The Color Purple, and later watching the movie featuring Oprah Winfrey.  My favorite scene was Shug being drawn away from what I now know was a lesbian serenade with Celie to singing "God's Trying to Tell You Something" in a church reunion with her minister father (ironic to say the least).  I also remember somewhat of an uproar coming from African-American men, describing the book as "anti-man".  Each man in the movie was either a fornicator, abuser, adulterer, liar, weakling, or self-centered scoundrel.  I didn't understand their issue at the time. I didn't realize that there were no positive portrayals of men in the movie...nor did I get why such even mattered.  I didn't pick up on the lesbian innuendos between Celie and Shug, nor understand that this relationship was the glue to the whole story.

During graduation ceremonies from Spelman College, I can remember President Dr. Johnnetta B. Cole admonishing our class that we had a debt to pay to society in exchange for the education we had received.  How must we repay this debt?  By putting off marriage and the having of children.  For Spelman - whose motto is "Women Who Serve" - marriage and children were somehow the antithesis of service.  We were called upon to be world leaders, and only once we had made our mark in the world should we consider marriage & children...and only then would we be worthy to represent the Spelman name.

Bisexual Alliance (LBA) Afrekete.
Don't get me wrong.  I appreciate having been able to obtain a college education and am ever grateful for my parents in affording me the opportunity to do so.  Yet what is the true legacy of this type of indoctrination?  One only needs to take a look at the condition of this institution today to see its fruit.

Currently, Spelman College is filled with a plague of lesbianism.  It is reportedly, "Out in Front" in the promotion of LBGT concerns.  We have even personally heard from Spelman students seeking deliverance from lesbianism and sharing stories of how common it is for there to be same sex activities in the dorms - even amongst those who do not consider themselves to be lesbian.  Spelman's all-male "brother" school Morehouse College is also being overrun with homosexuality, having to modify school policy regarding the wearing of dresses and leading U.S. President Barack Obama to encourage their graduates to be the "best husbands" to their boyfriends or partners.  Even so, the Morehouse alumni are still lobbying for greater acceptance of homosexuality among the student body.

This post is not a criticism of Spelman and Morehouse specifically, as they are merely reflective of society as a whole.  It is about the fallen spirits which promote these perverse ideologies; and the fruit of these spirits has clearly become manifest all around us.

Feminist jargon is nothing more than a lure and trap into homosexuality (or at the very least, a homosexual mindset).  Although feminism hides behind a misnomer of "independence and equality", what it really represents is a bitter hatred of children and men.  It is a code word for "natural affections" being rejected (II Timothy 3:2-3; Romans 1:26) and marriage & children being seen as the enemy.  Nothing makes this more plain than to hear the story of Rebecca Walker, daughter of one of the most prominent feminists of our day.  Just some of her comments include:
Feminist Gloria Steinam proudly proclaims to
be a murderer of her own child.
"You see, my mum taught me that children enslave women. I grew up believing that children are millstones around your neck, and the idea that motherhood can make you blissfully happy is a complete fairytale."

"I was raised to believe that women need men like a fish needs a bicycle."

"As a little girl, I wasn't even allowed to play with dolls or stuffed toys in case they brought out a maternal instinct. It was drummed into me that being a mother, raising children and running a home were a form of slavery. Having a career, travelling the world and being independent were what really mattered..."

"Feminism has betrayed an entire generation of women into childlessness. It is devastating."
Even though she has pulled away from some of her mother's viscous teachings, you can still see the affects of these doctrines in Rebecca's life.  At the age of 18, she rejected the last name of her father and chose instead to take the last name of her mother.  Further, she is only able to embrace "motherhood", but not "womanhood".  She says at one point in regards to her son's father, "I knew I had found the man I wanted to have a baby with. Gentle, kind and hugely supportive, he is, as I knew he would be, the most wonderful father."  Notice that there is no personal connection with the man himself.  There is no yearning for a personal, fulfilling relationship with the targeted "father" of her child.  A man remains just an accessory from which she can fulfill her own desires (i.e., a child).  Unable to experience communion with a man, Rebecca remains a bisexual.

How is it possible for this woman to recognize the error of her mothers ways, yet still turn exactly into what her mother represents?  This should let you know that we are not simply dealing with a matter of the will or intellect; we are dealing with a spirit. It doesn't matter what you know, if not for the blood of Jesus Christ bringing complete deliverance from that spirit, you will still be under its influence.

What the world calls feminism is nothing more than the promotion of the spirit of Jezebel, whom Scripture says was both a witch and a whore (II Kings 9:22).  She refused to honor her husband precisely because she refused to honor the God of her husband. She could never recognize the purpose and authority of a man because she has fallen for the same lie spoken to Eve in the Garden, "You can be a god yourself." (Genesis 3:5).  This spirit changes you into that which is incompatible with a man; one which only seeks to castrate/effeminize, manipulate, seduce, or dominate him. It is the wickedness of this spirit which leads Jezebel's daughter Athaliah to try and kill all of her own grandchildren in order to secure her reign as Queen and retain her place of power over God's people (II Kings 11:1-16).

Whether you ever actually participate in homosexual acts or not, this spirit can still influence you.  It projects a "No man is going to tell me what to do" attitude.  It complains about how much of a burden children are and uses the children as a means to glorify itself and receive worship.  Even if the child is not killed physically, it overpowers and demeans the child so as to snuff out whatever spiritual life the child may have.  There is no nature to nurture and care for your own children.  It considers a career or worldly achievement to be more important than a family. It cannot complement a man, but must compete with him.  Jezebel will either make you masculine in demeanor (what the world calls butch) or it will make a you a seductress.  This spirit becomes whatever it needs to be in order to control others.

This is not about being married or even having children.  It is about making sure that every vestige of the dominating spirit is gone so that we can be exactly who we are designed to be: women of virtue.  There is fulfillment and yes, even JOY in being exactly whom God has designed us to be, whether male or female.  Even now there is a day of judgment awaiting Jezebel (Revelation 2:20-23).  May each and every woman seek to be delivered of that spirit and made new in virtue after the image of God.

I recently posted an article on the Omega Ministries Man-Up Manifesto.  I feel it is only appropriate to post a similar article with resources for women.  I pray the info below edify you and compel you closer to the heart of God.

The War on Men Through the VENERATION of Woman

For those who still don't see how evil this is after reading, please see the following: The End of Men.

Notice that she is referenced as "Ms." vs. "Mrs.",
which is a title usually reserved for when it is unknown
whether a woman is married or unmarried.
"Then the angel that talked with me went forth, and said unto me, Lift up now thine eyes, and see what is this that goeth forth. And I said, What is it? And he said, This is an ephah that goeth forth. He said moreover, This is their resemblance through all the earth.

And, behold, there was lifted up a talent of lead: and this is a woman that sitteth in the midst of the ephah. And he said, This is wickedness. And he cast it into the midst of the ephah; and he cast the weight of lead upon the mouth thereof.

Then lifted I up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came out two women, and the wind was in their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork: and they lifted up the ephah between the earth and the heaven. Then said I to the angel that talked with me, Whither do these bear the ephah? And he said unto me, To build it an house in the land of Shinar:
[Shinar is Babylon] and it shall be established, and set there upon her own base [a pedestal]." Zechariah 5:5-11

On December 1, 2012, Mrs. Jada Pinkett Smith posted a note on her Facebook page called, "The War on Men Through the Degradation of Woman."  It shows in a nutshell how the perversion of womanhood - such as promoted by Mrs. Smith - is contaminating the minds of young girls and is the cause of what she calls the "War on Men".

Pay close attention to her words below and notice what she is really saying.  My comments are in the brackets [emphasis added by me].
_________
The war on men through the degradation of woman.

How is man to recognize his full self, his full power through the eye's of an incomplete woman? [A man's ability to "be a man" is dependent upon how a woman sees him. His power and self-identity comes from her vision of him.]  The woman who has been stripped of Goddess recognition and diminished to a big a** [word modified by me] and full breast for physical comfort only. [Notice that an "incomplete" woman is one who is not recognized as a "goddess".]  The woman who has been silenced so she may forget her spiritual essence because her words stir too much thought outside of the pleasure space. [A man's sole focus in life is the "pleasure space".  In other words, men are filled with lust and need the "spiritual essence" of women to think beyond that.] The woman who has been diminished to covering all that rots inside of her with weaves and red bottom shoes [The man is to blame for his role in this, but the woman is just trying to cover her internal hurts.  Instead of holding both responsible for their own behaviors, she villainizes the men and victimizes the women.].
I am sure the men, who restructured our societies from cultures that honored woman, had no idea of the outcome. [Patriarchy is not the normal way of living and does not "honor" women (presumably, as goddesses).]  They had no idea that eventually, even men would render themselves empty and longing for meaning, depth and connection [Unless men "honor" women as "goddesses", they will continue to be empty and without meaning or depth.].
There is a deep sadness when I witness a man that can't recognize the emptiness he feels when he objectifies himself as a bank and truly believes he can buy love with things and status. It is painful to witness the betrayal when a woman takes him up on that offer. He doesn't recognize that the create of a half woman has contributed to his repressed anger and frustration of feeling he is not enough [Again, a man's identity can only be defined by how he honors a woman (not how he honors God).]. He then may love no woman or keep many half women as his prize. He doesn't recognize that it's his submersion in the imbalanced warrior culture, where violence is the means of getting respect and power, as the reason he can break the face of the woman who bore him four children [Having the mentality of a soldier of war is incompatible with showing love.  Men need to be more matriarchal.].

When woman is lost, so is man [The woman in this regard is the savior of the man; his salvation is dependent upon her.]. The truth is, woman is the window to a man's heart and a man's heart is the gateway to his soul [A man's soul is the product of the woman].

Power and control will NEVER out weigh love.

May we all find our way.
_______

Mrs. Smith claims that men are failing at manhood because they do not recognize women as goddesses.  Notice as well that she doesn't present any balance here.  The woman is lifted up and the man is dependent upon her...even for his own self identity.  The man needs the woman, but the woman doesn't need the man. The man is defined by the woman, but the woman is not defined by him.  The woman is a goddess and the man is the one serving her.  The man is the one in need of salvation, and the woman is his savior.

What she is describing is Babylon (Zechariah 5:5-11; Revelation 17:3-6).  She is promoting nothing more than rebellion against God and what He says is "wickedness" (which makes it only appropriate that Jada belongs to the heavy metal group Wicked Wisdom).

As stated in The End of Men, "Satan does not want equality of the sexes; he is after emasculation for this is the only way he can maintain his illegitimate rule as the god of this world."  Satan rules through the fallen nature of Adam; such is why he must promote female domination over men.  What was Adam's sin according to God?  He heeded the voice of his wife over the voice of God (Genesis 3:17-19).  Adam supplanted God with the woman, making her his god(dess). Is this not the original lie Satan told Eve from the beginning? That she could be as a god herself?

"For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry." I Samuel 15:23a

“When I walked out there and disrobed, I felt
like a queen
. I felt like the world was mine.
Like there was this power just emanating
from my person. Like there was nothing
I couldn’t do.” Jada Pinkett Smith
Does no one see the deception that Jada Pinkett Smith is weaving here?  What she offers as the remedy to the issue of women's degradation is in reality its cause.  The only way that a man will worship a woman as a goddess is if he is a "lover of pleasure more than a lover of God" (II Timothy 3:4).  The seat of power for a "goddess" is that the man has been so hallowed out and castrated by rebellion against God, that he is led by his five carnal senses.  He must stay enslaved to the flesh and ensnared in idolatry to remain controllable.

How clever Satan is!  He is able to transform his ministers into "ministers of righteousness" so that they can appear to stand for what is right, while at the same time slitting your throat (II Corinthians 11:14-15).  Jada presents herself as a friend of women - even depicting the men as the villains behind this degradation - while she herself glories in the "power" of her naked body and urges women to do the same in order to continue this bondage.

The problem is not that men are degrading women, but that man (both men & women) have turned from God to idols and are living selfishly for themselves. The result is that the family structure and society as a whole is out of order.

"As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths." Isaiah 3:12

On November 21, 2012, Jada wrote the following about recent controversies surrounding her daughter's buzz cut.
This subject is old but I have never answered it in its entirety. And even with this post it will remain incomplete. The question why I would LET Willow cut her hair. First the LET must be challenged. This is a world where women, girls are constantly reminded that they don't belong to themselves; that their bodies are not their own, nor their power or self determination. I made a promise to endow my little girl with the power to always know that her body, spirit and her mind are HER domain. Willow cut her hair because her beauty, her value, her worth is not measured by the length of her hair. It's also a statement that claims that even little girls have the RIGHT to own themselves and should not be a slave to even their mother's deepest insecurities, hopes and desires. Even little girls should not be a slave to the preconceived ideas of what a culture believes a little girl should be. More to come. Another day.
Do we belong to ourselves, or have we been bought with a price?  Do we have the right to do and live as we please, or are we accountable to God who is our Creator, as well as Judge of the living and the dead?  Should young girls be taught to see their physical bodies as a source of "power"?

Instead of being an example of womanhood and virtue to her daughter, Mrs. Smith prefers to encourage her to do whatever she feels is right in her own eyes, or as she says: "self-determination".  Why?  Because she is a rebel against authority too.  She doesn't want anyone telling her what to do, so she raises her daughter to be the same.  These things are not mere fashion statements or just examples of young people finding their own way.  We are seeing the evil workings of a fallen spirit being who has planted seeds of rebellion in man's heart come to fruition.

"But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head. But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven." I Corinthians 11:3-5

Pray for those who are deceived, but be prepared to stand against these deceptions and war against the spiritual wickedness which seeks to pervert the mind, turning it anti-Christ. The harvest truly is plenty, but the laborers are few.  Are you willing to labor for the sake of the harvest?

A Head & A Help

The following is part of the book, Why Adam Cannot Be Saved, whose sections can be accessed here.

Man’s Relationship with Woman

“And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.” Genesis 2:18

Unlike some believe, woman being a "help" for man was not a product of the fall. This was God’s original design for her.

When it comes to the solution for man’s loneliness and the appropriate mate for him, God is not ambiguous. Woman was created specifically for this purpose. The woman is the help which is “meet” (fit or worthy) for the man.
help: (ezer) One who helps or succours
for him: (neged) Against, parallel to, opposite
When God saw this need in man’s life, He did not decide that it would be good for man to have a maid. Rather, He saw the need for one who would offer man strength in his areas of weakness and complement him in a way that no other creature could (Genesis 2:20). In a similar way, Scriptures indicate that God serves such a purpose for mankind; He is our "ezer" (help).

Being a help “meet” for man therefore illustrates how woman was purposefully designed for him.  The Hebrew word neged implies that which is “against” another, but its use here is not in an adversarial way. Physically and spiritually, God made woman so that she would be a complement to man. Together they would form a symbiotic relationship, like two puzzle pieces fitting together, each having a particular set of strengths from which the other would benefit.

These distinctions would prove vital in the roles God determined each to fulfill: the man being the head and the woman being his help.  As there was an established order to be preserved between man and the earth, there was also an order between the man and the woman.

Just as Adam’s naming the animals denoted his being in authority over them, so did Adam’s naming of the woman. As God presented her to the man, Adam called her ishshah (woman) because she came "out from man" (Genesis 2:23). In this act, Adam claimed Eve as his own and identified her as being part of himself.

Another way Adam’s headship can be seen in the creation story is in how God communicated His commands about life in the Garden. We see in Genesis 2:16-17 that God gives these instructions before the woman was even created. Yet it is clear that Adam was expected to pass them on to Eve, and had done so (Genesis 3:2-3). Further, when they both fell into sin, God came to Adam for an accounting of what happened, even though it was Eve who had been deceived.

The authority that comes from God will always bear His signature; it will be patriarchal in nature because such reflects & reinforces His image. In establishing His authority in this way, He continually brings our eyes back to Him as our source and our Father.

“And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.” Genesis 2:21-23

The world is quick to say how without a woman, there would be no man. Yet Scripture says that the woman is of the man, and not the other way around (I Corinthians 11:8-9).

It is also significant that Eve was taken from Adam’s ribs. The ribs provide one main function: they offer protection for the heart & lungs. Both are critical to sustaining the life of the body, yet the nature of their work requires that they be soft, delicate, and pliable...even while being amongst the most resilient organs in the body.  Their strength then is not in outward appearance, but is an inner strength.

Understanding the functional purpose that these delicate organs serve and how vital their work is to the health of the body, it is clear to see why God - in His infinite wisdom - encased the heart and lungs under the protection of the ribs. This is a parallel to who woman is and what she does...and why God in His wisdom placed her under the authority of the man.

God designed woman with the primary purpose of her carrying and supporting life…in all areas.  The Hebrew word for Eve is chavvah which means "life". The woman can physically nurture and give birth to life, but she is also designed to be a spiritual life-giver. The very spirit a woman walks in can either build up a home or work to destroy it (Proverbs 14:1, 19:4, 21:9, 31:11-12; Psalms 128:3a; I Peter 3:1-2). Although the woman is referred to as the “weaker vessel” (I Peter 3:7), God did not create woman to be without strength. Her strength is manifested in her virtue (Ruth 3:11; Proverbs 12:4, 31:10).
virtue: (chayil) Strength, might, efficiency, wealth, force, army.
While being equally created before God, man and woman were designed to serve different roles in God's creation.  As the head, man was expected to watch over and protect the woman who was specifically made to complement him as his help.

Equal

The following is part of the book, Why Adam Cannot Be Saved, whose sections can be accessed here.

Man’s Relationship with Woman

“And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone…” Genesis 1:18a

How compassionate is our God! It was “good” that He had personally formed man in His image, given him dominion over His creation, and inspired him by His Spirit. Yet, He did not stop there. God was concerned with man’s companionship and determined that it was "not good" for man to be alone.

God always desires the best for His creation and He knew that man needed someone with whom he could share the love God had placed within him. Genesis Chapters 1 & 2 show us God’s plan in that regard.

Equal

“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” Genesis 1:27

God’s image was reflected in two types of creation: male and female. There are attributes of God in the male character as well as in female character. They are both equally created as a reflection of God’s nature. In terms of importance, one is not less or more before God than the other. When God decided to make man in His image, He decided to make depict His image in both the male and the female.

“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.” Genesis 1:26

Not only were they each equally created after the likeness of God, but God had given dominion over the earth to both the man and the woman. They were to exercise authority over the earth together.

Woman was not taken from the head of man as if she is his authority, or from the foot of man as if she is beneath him. She was taken from man’s side for she is on equal standing with him before God. This does not mean, however, that they can - or were even designed to - serve in the same roles or functions.

Tweet4Choice?

"While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage."  II Peter 2:19

We have spoken before about the absurdity of the "pro-choice" platform.

How it's legalization was rooted in the eugenics movement, which seeks to reduce the world population by exterminating all "undesirables" from the world.

How it is in actuality the masking of wholesale murder as a means for destroying the family unit and destabilize society under the guise of protecting 'women's rights'.

However, the following videos have to be some of the hardest to watch that I have ever seen.  As difficult as they are to watch, they document a "procedure" that thousands of women undergo each day.

As stated in the video, abortion staying hidden allows it to remain tolerable.

If there is any doubt about what "choice" the people who support abortion want you to choose, this settles that question once and for all.

The following video is the documentary "The Silent Scream" hosted by Dr. Bernard Nathanson (an obstetrician) as he explains the suction abortion procedure, followed by an actual first trimester abortion as seen through ultrasound.

This next video chronicles the stages of life that a baby goes through from conception to birth.  It then shows actual results from an abortion in comparison.

WHAT Was Crucified at Calvary?

The following sermon is from Pastor Gary C. Price and is called, "What Was Crucified at Calvary?"

We know that Jesus came as the second Adam to crucify the old sin nature which man was born with as a result of the fall.  However, Scripture also makes plain what exemplifies that nature and Pastor Gary C. Price reviews these texts in order to show exactly what was crucified on the cross.
  • The forbidden fruit was a forbidden nature.  Eve and Adam ingested the fruit or words of Satan and became a partaker of his defiled nature.
  • God's answer is to kill off that nature via crucifixion.
  • Religion creates a holding tank for you to indulge your lusts without being crucified.  It was instituted by man to make him think he is serving God when he is not.
  • Most churchfolk are not saved; they are just churchfolk.  The devil has learned the church game.
  • The way to be safe from deception is to know the real.
  • Satan couldn't come to the head (Adam) to deceive, so he used the weaker vessel (Eve) to destroy Godly headship.  The devil can only rule through abdication by men.
  • The spiritual legacy birthed in the Garden of Eden (when Adam abdicated authority to Eve) can be seen historically throughout the Scriptures, culminating in the harlot and the beast we see in the book of Revelation.
  • Grace doesn't keep you in sin; grace pulls you out of sin.
  • The purpose of Jesus dying on the cross was not only for Him to die in your place, but to provide the means for taking you to the cross so that the old nature can be killed off.
  • After coming to the cross, we need to go through the cross.
  • The importance of Jesus' crucifixion was not horror of His death, but the miracle of His resurrection.  Jesus is not presently dead; He is alive!
  • When you repeatedly expose yourself to a thing, you are programming your soul to be fed by the same.
  • Sin will "talk" to you, which is why we must cast down imaginations.
  • The law serves to show us how sinful we really are so that we will understand why we need Christ.
  • We can be set free when God renews our mind.
  • Don't go to church, become the church and then He can lead you to the fellowship He has for you.
  • The sin nature and the manifestation of its perverse spirit is what Jesus killed on the cross.
  • Religion uses spiritual sodomy (accessing you emotionally through your soul rather through your spirit) to keep you  bound to the preacher in the pulpit and bound in sin.
  • The return of Godly character as reflected in fatherhood is what is needed for the church to be endowed with spiritual power and to set captives free.

We Are Legion

Unifying the World

"For he said unto him, Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit. And he asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many." Mark 5:8-9

Since I last wrote about "Occupy", it has become a global phenomenon.  Increasingly, there has been news of violent and perverse activities being associated with this movement.  There are reports of everything from molestation, public acts of indecency, assault, and destruction of property.

Those who reject Christ do not believe that He is soon
returning to judge the world, but that this time
represents a "new beginning" without consideration
of a Sovereign, Omnipotent God (Psalms 2:1-3).
In the past week, "Occupy D.C." is accused of knocking down an elderly man and pushing an elderly woman down a flight of stairs. "Occupy San Diego" defaced food carts - one splattered with blood & urine - when the vendors stopped handing out free food to the protestors.  Such acts of self-centered entitlement with a complete disregard for the well-being of others illustrates the mindset of anarchists.
anarchist: a person who advocates the abolition of government and a social system based on voluntary cooperation.
The anarchist doesn't want anyone telling him what to do.  He only desires to do what he "wants to" or "feels like" doing.  He therefore rejects any authority outside of his own will.  It matters not what type of authority or government it is; he despises anything that puts restraint on the old, carnal nature.

"The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished: but chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities."  II Peter 2:9-10

The backbone of this movement is what persons such as Aleistar Crowley have advocated: a society where everyone will "Do What Thou Wilt".  It is the perverse philosophy being promoted by the world's entertainment which glorifies rebellion and a rejection of any type of authority (like Jay-Z in his "Run This Town").  It is the corrupt indoctrination often passed off as 'education' where students are taught to set aside traditional beliefs in favor tolerance & diversity for the "collective good".

We are seeing the manifestation of fallen man at his best: full of self-love, without self-control, and motivated by self-interest.

"This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away." II Timothy 3:1-5

While the Occupy movement will claim that there is no real organization or authority behind these groups, there is certainly a hidden hand guiding these protests.  One evidence of this is something I have been noticing for weeks: the protestors' consistent use of the mask from the movie "V for Vendetta".

According to an article by CBS News, this mask is "...a stylized version of Guy Fawkes, an Englishman who tried to bomb the British Parliament on Nov. 5, 1605."

Guy Fawkes was an English Catholic who tried to assassinate King James I and have him replaced with a Catholic monarch.  He and his co-conspirators made an oath to pull off what is called the "Gunpowder Plot" and this oath was sealed with a Catholic mass performed by a Jesuit priest.  For those who do not understand the spiritual significance of this act, please read about the history of government subversion by the Jesuits in "The Occult & Secret Societies".

In the CBS news article, one Occupy protestor states that this mask is "...unifying the world under one symbol."  It sure seems to be, but what does the mask symbolize?

"The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good." Psalm 14:1

At its heart, this mask symbolizes that which is anti-God, more specifically anti-Christ.  Nothing makes this more apparent than the movie and the book upon which it is based.

"V for Vendetta" is a vile film which takes every opportunity to degrade Christianity and mock God.  The hero is a masked man named "V" who is attempting to incite an overthrow of a government described as "religious and conservative".  This authoritative and oppressive government - symbolized by an archiepiscopal cross - is shown to be the real extremists while contrasted against religions of peace such as Islam.  Perhaps the most horrid act of this government was its criminalization of homosexuality, which was one of the inspirations behind "V's" deciding to incite rebellion.

Know that there is no room for varying perspectives in "V's" view of society.  Although purporting to stand against tyranny, there is no mercy for those who do not agree with him.  If you are not on board with his ideology, then you are disposable and may very well be put to death.  How does "V" accomplish his goals?  Murder, torture, terrorism, group psychosis...and he convinces most of the working class to join him in the name of freedom (as they all don the same mask in their show of support).

Ultimately unable to complete his plan, "V" hands over his regime to a prostitute named "Evey" (i.e. Eve) who becomes the "savior" of the working class people after she is mentally "set free" by reading the journals of an arrested lesbian.  Her identification with the lesbian allows her to renew her commitment to "V's" cause for freedom from religious oppression.  "Who is V?", Evey is asked in the end?  "He is all of us" is her reply.

And it is not just the Occupy movement.  I cannot help but think of the product "Summer's Eve" (here we go with "Eve" again) which has recently launched its ad campaign "Hail to the V", championing a woman's body part as the "cradle of life" and "the center of civilization".  It even starts out with a woman lifting up her baby in offering to the moon, a tribute to the mythological figure of Lilith who refused to submit to Adam as his first wife (again, symbolizing a rejection of authority).  Even the Summer's Eve website has been rebranded to celebrate the "Power of the V".

Am I rich?  Not by any means.  Am I a defender of the current policies of the U.S. government?  Not at all.  Neither is it my intent to vilify all participants in this movement.  Yet, the events we are witnessing are not so shallow as a mere political uprising nor as altruistic as those seeking justice for the downtrodden.

What we are seeing is the growing emergence of an unholy spirit which will weave the world together to wonder after the beast (Revelations 17:8).   As the protestor stated, the whole world is being unified under this spirit; a spirit which honors perversion and hates God (as well as those who serve Him).  In fact, they will claim that the persecution of the saints is actually doing God a favor (John 16:2)...because they serve a different god.

The world is getting ready to receive its king, the King of Sodom, who will hate and make war with the saints of God.  They are "legion", but we are overcomers in Jesus Christ.  Do not get caught up in wars and the rumor of wars or other end time events of which Jesus has already forewarned us.  Don't get entangled with the affairs of this life.  Get ready as the time comes at hand.

I Will Wait For You

A woman asked me recently whether I believe that it is God who joins people together in marriage.  I stated that I do, because that is expressly what God says in His word (Matthew 19:6).  "Why then" she wondered, "are there so many divorces in Christian marriages?"

I believe this is largely due to the fact that people rarely consider or seek God's plan for their lives.  It is enough for me to just profess faith in Christ, but then go on living my life the way that I want to live it.

While it should be God who joins people together, it is common for people to run off and simply do what is right in their own eyes.  If we do not follow God's plan, then we have no greater assurance of success for our efforts than does one who is not saved.  When it comes to marriage, just like many other subjects, those 'in the church' often have the same mindset as in the world.

So when trials come - the "for worse, in sickness, for poorer" times - our true colors come shining through.  We can talk about waiting on God for marriage, but what about waiting on God after marriage?  Do we trust Him to work out any issues?  Do we consider Him faithful to continue molding our spouses (and ourselves) into His image, even through our experiences in life?  Do we actually believe that it is God who joined us together (as we professed) or do we simply conclude that we (and God) made a mistake?  Faith in God will compel us to prayer and motivate us to patiently wait on God, even when marriages hit hard times.  If our level of commitment in marriage ends at the point where "I" am being put out, then we have never understood the covenant of marriage to begin with.

A friend shared with me last year:  "Most people who get married are 2 ticks, each assuming the other is a dog. Their intention is to take, take, take...and when the well runs dry, they say, 'We just don't love each other anymore.' No marriage will last or be truly happy without a continuous pattern of selflessness."

That is what is missing from most marriages, including Christian ones: selflessness...or in other words Christ.  If Jesus Christ is not the center of our lives, then our motivation in every endeavor (including marriage) will be selfish; and we will reap the tragic results of such fruit.

When I got married, someone gave us a wonderful plague which reads:
Marriage takes three to be complete;
It's not enough for two to meet
They must be united in love
By love's Creator God above.
A marriage that follows God's plan
Takes more than a woman and a man.
It needs a oneness that can be
Only from Christ - marriage takes three.

In Turning From A Spirit of Whoredoms and Biblical Manhood, we talked about how critical it is for our young people to be given a biblical view of relationships and marriage. How important it is for them to understand that - if it is God's plan for you to marry - then He is already preparing you for your spouse.  As in all things, we don't need to test the waters but simply to follow the lead of the Spirit.

So I am sharing one young woman's testimony of how her perspective of relationships is changing as God renews her mind to see herself - and her life - through His eyes first.  While an excerpt from her article is posted below, please click on this link to view it in its entirety:  I Will Wait For You

SOME OF US HAVE BEEN FOOLED!

Having sex? Has to be one of the most beautiful things in the Lord.

How about just cuddling? Can’t be much without the Lord.

Saying I love you and meaning it? Impossible if we are outside of the Lord.

Being loyal? Unheard of if we have no loyalty to the Lord.

Being changed from the old cheater/liar? Insane if we hadn’t been made new in the Lord.

American Horror Story

A Time to Weep, A Time to Laugh

Have you ever seen or heard something that made you laugh and cry at the same time?  The following article was forwarded to me today and it evoked just that kind of response.

On one hand, I can truly relate to the author's frustration...and was glad to hear someone say it.  I laughed as I reminisced about the way that life "used to be" as boys were truly allowed to be boys.

On the other hand, the consequences of this truth is enough to make you want to weep for the loss of life and the striping of manhood which many young boys suffer.  I have seen firsthand the way society, schools, and the media attempts to emasculate boys.  Young boys are being molded into some version of a "Ken doll", and I for one am fed up with it.

A true American horror story is unfolding in many homes across the country as our young people are being brainwashed into believing that "gender" is neutral.

A young woman who stayed with us this summer recounted how one of her professors taught the class that a state of androgyny is the perfect prototype for mankind's existence.   This is what the children are being indoctrinated with as early as elementary school.

''Transgender' model Isis King -
born as Darrell Walls - whose
sex change operation was
aided by Tyra Banks.

I also have a little cousin who started college last month and found that her roommate is a transexual.  The roommate was born a man and had undergone a sex change to become a woman.  Although my cousin was uncomfortable with this situation, the college claims that this man is now legally a woman and therefore must reside with other women.  As such, my 18 year old cousin is now forced to room with a man in her college dorm.

Consider the insanity of it all.  Individuals who undergo a sex change do not become another sex just because they have undergone a surgical operation.  Such persons must continue to use prescription hormones every day of their lives in order to try & counteract the continuing natural biology of their own bodies.  No amount of body mutilation or drug ingestion can change that.

Look, if I have to continually die my hair in order to maintain an appearance that my hair is blond, then guess what: I am not really a blond.  Only one who is blind and/or deceived could believe otherwise.  Yet the most 'educated, intellectual, and learned persons' accept that such is normal...and even ideal.

The college would not have to deprive this young man of an education just because he wants to live as a woman.  Yet common sense would dictate that the school place this young man in a room of his own.  However, the college doesn't do so because they have an agenda to pursue.  It is more important to force this perverse ideology on the students than it is to use common sense; and the one who has objections to the situation is the one made out to be "strange".

In the beginning, God created man and woman; male and female created He them.  Both male and female reflect the nature of a holy God...by design.  There are attributes which are found naturally in men and women precisely because God has certain functions/roles for each to fulfill, according to His purposes.  Persons experiencing "gender confusion" are not to be mocked; they are simply the product of a sinful world...as are we all.  And like all, they are in need of supernatural deliverance from an Almighty God who alone is able to break every curse and give to us a sound mind (II Timothy 1:7).  If it is only "in Christ" that we get a sound mind, then that should tell us that outside of Christ we should expect to see nothing more than mere insanity.

At a time when the church should be girded for war, most are more concerned with fitting into this present, evil world; and then we want to wonder what is "wrong with the church".  Thank God that He brings forth the spirit of Elijah before the great and dreadful day of the Lord (Malachi 4:5).

Now the only question is, "Where are the Elijahs and who has been prepared to stand with them?"

THEY ARE AFRAID OF REAL MEN
By Coach Dave Daubenmire

NewsWithViews.com

I have a lot to say, but this is not the time to say it. I’ll save the details for another day. Stop reading now if you think Jesus was a sissy.

This is a time to vent...to air it out...to let some steam off ..to release the pressure valve.

Sometimes I feel like my head is about to explode. This is one of those times.

Americans have become so sissified. Everyone is afraid to hurt somebody’s feelings. It is the ‘wussification’ of the culture run amuck. Real men scare people.

I grew up with straight-talkers as my role models. John Wayne-types were the manly examples that the entertainment industry pumped into our homes. I have fond memories of sitting around the black and white Philco with my parents as the family watched real men gallop into our living room. Roy Rogers, Clint Eastwood, Paladin, Hoss Cartwright, The Lone Ranger, and their ilk left a masculine odor in my nostrils each night as I sawed logs in the bed I shared with my older brother.

The next morning we hit the yard running playing “Cowboys and Indians”, scalping redskins by morning, turning into Vic Morrow’s “Combat” and pretending to kill the Krauts by the afternoon. We lived out in the day what we watched on TV in the evening.

Pardon me for being so politically incorrect, but killing Krauts and scalping Injuns was a wonderful life for a young man to live. Today you can’t even use the name Indian. At least I wasn’t forced to play with Ken dolls and dance with Barney. The only Barney I knew was the lovable weenie on Andy Griffith. He was an endearing character because even my young eyes could see that he was a sissy-man who wished he was a real man. Somehow, I wanted to help him grow some hair on his chest.

But look at what they have on TV today? It is a steady stream of sissy-boys with moussed and frosted hair being offered to our impressionable young boys as “American Idols.” Instead of Gunsmoke and Matt Dillon we get “Dancing With The Stars” and Chaz Bono. Is it any wonder we have gender-confusion in America?

I am just going to say it. We have allowed the young men in this nation to be emasculated by women. No offense to women...I love them. I married one. I have two daughters and a granddaughter. They are the joy of my life.

But they are women. They think like women, they act like women. They like cooking...and shopping...and “Cake Boss” on TV. The get emotional. They cry easily. They hold grudges...they wear lace...and makeup.

But, I don’t want my son acting like them. I want him to kill bugs, and shoot varmints, and tell men off. I want him to open doors for women, to protect and defend his sisters, to learn to handle a gun in order to protect his family. Our children understand that the Father is the head of the house and that his job is to guide, guard and govern those God has entrusted to him.

Is that what they are teaching in your child’s school? Is that what they are teaching in your church? Is that what the young people are learning in your church’s youth group? Does your church have a “Gun Free Zone” sign on the door? Probably put there by a woman...or a pastor...or a woman pastor.

Or are they teaching the boys to act like girls? Just look around. The men don’t even look like men anymore. Fonzie would have beat them up.

Look at your child’s elementary school. How many men do you see working with those kids? My grandpa taught me how to spit. If a boy does that on the playground today he probably gets medicated. A woman can’t teach a boy how to be a boy. Only a man can do that. Do you want your son to be taught to ”be nice”...or to “be a man?”

Remember the Daniel Boone theme song from the weekly television show?

“Daniel Boone was a man, yes a big man. With an eye like an eagle and as tall as a mountain was he.
Daniel Boone was a man. He was brave he was fearless and as tough as a mighty oak tree.
From the coonskin cap on the top of old Dan to the heel of his rawhide shoes. The rippinist, roarinist, fightinist man the frontier ever knew. Daniel Boone was a man. Yes a big man. And he fought for America to make all American’s free.”

Daniel Boone and his cohort Davy Crockett have been replaced by Simon Cowell and Charlie Sheen.

I had a meeting today that sent me over the top. I spoke like a man. I called a spade a spade. I called sin, sin. I gave them a double-barrel approach to the Truth. They deserved a tongue lashing and they got it.

Needless to say, it was not well received. I was too “harsh”, “too judgmental”, “to direct”, “too self-assured”. I was just too much for the bossy women and the wimpy men they work with.

America, both men and women, no longer want to be spoken to by a man. They are afraid of men, real men. Instead of Davy Crockett they want Dr. Drew.

Ok boys. It is time to get your butt off of the couch and engage your son. Everywhere he goes he is being told how to behave by those who have no idea what it means to be a man. Don’t come crying to me when he comes home wearing skin tight jeans, moussed hair, earrings and a collar around his neck. Get him off the computer and take him fishing. Teach him to fire a gun and skin a rabbit. Watch the movie “Braveheart” with him. Teach him to be a man.

If you don’t teach him now, some 23 year old recent college graduate who minored in Women’s Studies at the University will.

I read somewhere that one of the first things Muslim children are taught in some of their schools around the Middle East is how to kill and dissect young animals. It teaches them to get over their natural revulsion to blood.

In America we are teaching our young boys how to get in touch with their feelings, how to recycle paper, and how to speak without offending.

We live in a dangerous world. I wonder if Putin, Ahmadinejad, and the Red Chinese fear the sissy-man President that we have? Are they afraid of Hillary...and Palin...and Bachmann...and the various members of The She Party?

The day is coming, you mark my word, when our only hope will lie in the hands of those God-fearing, Bible-believing, Truth-speaking, man’s men that the American culture is trying so hard to extinguish.

“Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marveled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.” -Acts 13

The culture is feeding our young men tolerance. What they need more than anything is testosterone. Testosterone is a good thing.

The righteous are as bold as lions...

Turning From A Spirit of Whoredoms

A Call for Virtuous Womanhood

As I reflected on God's will for young girls last week, I considered my own daughters.  It has been a joy to see God's grace as they grow up with discretion and virtue; yet I also know that - as a society - we have strayed far from God's standards.

The first thing which came to my mind is how fathers give their daughters away in marriage.  While this is a part of marriage ceremonies today, it has mostly lost its significance.

The reason why the father presents the daughter at the wedding is because it signifies her being given from his household to the household of her husband.  A young girl was to be under the care/authority of her father until she married, at which point she would come under the care/authority of her husband.

This was not something to be done just in "Bible days"; nor was it intended to limit the young ladies.  It reflects the protection and covering of patriarchy, a blessing God gives as a reflection of Himself amongst His people. It gives an identity to the family, which is why family members take on the last name of the father (patriarch).  Such is also why the woman replaces her father's last name with her husband's in marriage.

Now, the things which God has given for our benefit, are the very things we despise...because of sin. Today, young ladies cannot wait to leave the home of their parents; to be independent and on their own.  Women often bristle at what should be the honor of taking their husband's last name in marriage.  Many simply append the husband's name to their own in order to retain their own individuality/independence.  Yet these are the poisonous fruit of feminism; it promises a bright, shiny red apple which looks pleasant and able to make one wise, but once bitten it brings death.

Have we not all had a bite out of that rotten fruit?  Through time it has continued to decay, showing itself via a culture of death which envelops the young people of our day.  Nowhere is this more apparent then in the countenance of young girls.

Scripture says that the woman is the glory of the man (I Corinthians 11:7).  The Amplified Bible puts is this way, "but woman is the expression of man's glory (majesty, preeminence)".  In other words, you can tell the spiritual state of men by looking at the women. This works both ways.  If the men in a society are virtuous, then the women will be ladies of virtue.  If the men are defiled, then the women will likewise reflect that which is reprobate.

Romans Chapter 1 describes the perversion which will (and has) set in during the end times; and one barometer God sets on this devolution is the women.  In an expression of utter amazement, God says during this time that "even the women" will turn away from that which is natural to that which is unnatural (verse 26).

As evidence to this truth, it is now en vogue for young ladies to dress immodestly, to curse like sailors, and to act like prostitutes. Instead of bringing life to man as a help meet for him, the women are on the prowl and the men are the prey.  How are these girls hunting?  By putting their "wares" on display and competing with each other in order to be more available (sexually and otherwise) to men.

The Wall Street Journal ran an article this month entitled, "Why Do We Let Them Dress Like That?" which explored the current phenomenon of girls being "pimped out" by their parents in the way they are allowed to dress.  An interview with the author about this article is in the video below.

Although the author speaks from a secular perspective, her insights are valid...even for those "in the church".  In speaking about the path we have helped blaze for our daughters in this area, author Jennifer Moses writes:
"We are the first moms in history to have grown up with widely available birth control, the first who didn't have to worry about getting knocked up. We were also the first not only to be free of old-fashioned fears about our reputations but actually pressured by our peers and the wider culture to find our true womanhood in the bedroom. Not all of us are former good-time girls now drowning in regret—I know women of my generation who waited until marriage—but that's certainly the norm among my peers...

Still, in my own circle of girlfriends, the desire to push back is strong. I don't know one of them who doesn't have feelings of lingering discomfort regarding her own sexual past. And not one woman I've ever asked about the subject has said that she wishes she'd "experimented" more...

But it's easy for parents to slip into denial. We wouldn't dream of dropping our daughters off at college and saying: "Study hard and floss every night, honey—and for heaven's sake, get laid!" But that's essentially what we're saying by allowing them to dress the way they do while they're still living under our own roofs."
Am I saying that we should put young girls on lock-down; chain them to the homes and make sure every inch of their bodies are always covered?  No.  I am saying that the virtues of true womanhood are not defined in the bedroom, but in the Bible.  The honor and dignity of being a woman has been largely lost in this generation and this lapse of vision will not be corrected until we address the root cause of the issue.

What many do not realize is that such issues for girls says more about their perception of fatherhood (patriarchy) than it does about their desire to be seen as attractive.  Since the identity in a family comes from the father, when that relationship is skewed, the girl is left less than whole inside.  Yes, a mother's presence and role in raising children is critical as well.  God has appointed both mothers and fathers as necessary components in raising Godly children (Malachi 2:15).  However, the blessing of patriarchy bestows a unique sense of belonging and place in the heart which makes us whole.  It tells us where we come from, to whom we belong, and even what inheritance is ours.  Just as the Christians identity is grounded in God the Father (Romans 8:15-17; Galatians 4:6-7), the earthly father plays the same role in an earthly family.

This is why studies have continually shown that absent fathers (physically or emotionally) result in increased sexual activity among young girls.  Scripture also acknowledges that a young girl's promiscuity is a reflection on the father (Leviticus 21:9).  She is looking for in other men what she lacks with her own father, whether it is acceptance, security, approval, love, etc.

We are so far gone from God's ways, that many do not even realize a young girl's effort to "find a boy" is in itself abnormal. Notice, I did not say that it is abnormal for a girl to be attracted to a boy.  I am saying that it is abnormal for her to actively pursue him; it is the evidence of her being incomplete inside.

The Scripture says that he who "finds a wife" finds a good thing (Proverbs 18:22).  The man "finds" a virtuous woman (Proverbs 31:10).  Remember, the marriage relationship between man and woman is a reflection of Christ's relationship with the church (Ephesians 5:31-32); and this includes the steps leading up to engagement.  As the bride of Christ, it is not we who have searched for and claimed Jesus.  He is the one who first sought us (Ephesians 2:4-5; I John 4:19; Titus 3:3-5).  We belong to Him because He first claimed us; we did not choose Him, but He chose us (John 15:16).

Similarly, it is the man who initiates the relationship with the woman.  Just as with Adam, God personally prepares a woman for a man and then reveals her to him as his wife so that the man may begin the courtship.  The only woman in Scripture who is out aggressively looking for and claiming a man is the "strange woman" in Proverbs.

"For by means of a whorish woman a man is brought to a piece of bread: and the adulteress will hunt for the precious life." Proverbs 6:26

"And, behold, there met him a woman with the attire of an harlot, and subtil of heart. (She is loud and stubborn; her feet abide not in her house: Now is she without, now in the streets, and lieth in wait at every corner.) So she caught him, and kissed him, and with an impudent face said unto him, I have peace offerings with me; this day have I payed my vows. Therefore came I forth to meet thee, diligently to seek thy face, and I have found thee." Proverbs 7:10-15

"For a whore is a deep ditch; and a strange woman is a narrow pit. She also lieth in wait as for a prey, and increaseth the transgressors among men."  Proverbs 23:28

It is true deliverance for young women in the Lord to realize that they don't have to "find" a husband.  All she has to do is stay in obedience to the Lord and - if it is His will for her to have a husband - He will provide the one He has selected for her.

This is exactly opposite to the mentality of the world where girls are encouraged to "test the waters" by seeking out and obtaining boyfriends, even in childhood; trying on boys like one tries on shoes.  The result is what we see now: hordes of young girls carrying themselves like discounted merchandise in the hopes of being picked up by the lowest bidder.

Yet, this is the legacy we have been left when we follow the feminist view of "empowerment".  Last Fall, Anne Kingston wrote an article entitled "Outraged Moms, Trashy Daughters" where feminists lamented over the "trashy" state of their daughters.  Their conclusion: More work remains for feminists to do.  My conclusion: We are reaping what we have sown.

Contrary to what the article presents, the crux of the problem lies with the whole feminist ideology.  The very thing missing from the article is what has been whitewashed out of their ideology: fatherhood.  One reviewer, who I am quoting below, summarizes her assessment of this article:
Feminism brainwashed young women to see husbands as oppressors and family as bondage. There was no longer any reason to restrict sex to love and marriage.  Understandably, feminists don't want to admit their teachers have betrayed them.
Even while they wring their hands, feminists are blinded by their ideology.  Both mothers and daughters are victims of deliberate social subversion. Feminism was created by elite social engineers to reduce population and undermine marriage and family.  A woman's career used to be wife and mother. She consecrated her sexuality for the man she loved, the father of her children, her protector and provider.

Young women today are up a creek. They don't know how to be women and men don't know how to be men. But one thing that hasn't changed is - men don't marry sluts. These girls are going to be left high and dry once their sex appeal has faded.

They obsess on looking beautiful but don't know that true beauty comes from within, from a spiritual purity. This means rejecting all coarse influences and behavior. It means focusing on what is good, true, human and inspiring.

It's not too late for girls to learn to be women again.

And I echo that it is not too late.

In Isaiah Chapter 3, God punishes Israel for her idolatry by taking away the patriarchs from the land (verses 1-3).  As a result, society gets turned upside down; people will be oppressed, children unruly, the base things of life will be exalted over that which is honorable (verses 4-7).  The people will sin openly and not be ashamed, but will boldly demonstrate their unrighteous ways (verses 8-11).  As a result of this disorder, God says:

"As for My people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O My people, your leaders cause you to err, and they confuse (destroy and swallow up) the course of your paths." Isaiah 3:12

This is what we see in society and what the mothers in the articles above are mourning over.  The consequence of God removing the righteous patriarchs from society results in children running wild and women left to rule. Take a look at the impact this has on young women:

"Moreover, the Lord said, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty and walk with outstretched necks and with undisciplined (flirtatious and alluring) eyes, tripping along with mincing and affected gait, and making a tinkling noise with the anklets on their feet, Therefore the Lord will smite with a scab the crown of the heads of the daughters of Zion making them bald, and the Lord will cause them to be taken as captives and to suffer the indignity of being stripped naked.

In that day the Lord will take away the finery of their tinkling anklets, the caps of network, the crescent head ornaments, The pendants, the bracelets or chains, and the spangled face veils and scarfs, The headbands, the short ankle chains attached from one foot to the other to insure a measured gait, the sashes, the perfume boxes, the amulets or charms suspended from the ears or neck, The signet rings and nose rings, The festal robes, the cloaks, the stoles and shawls, and the handbags, The hand mirrors, the fine linen undergarments, the turbans, and the whole body-enveloping veils.

And it shall come to pass that instead of the sweet odor of spices there shall be the stench of rottenness; and instead of a girdle, a rope; and instead of well-set hair, baldness; and instead of a rich robe, a girding of sackcloth; and searing of captives by the scorching heat instead of beauty...AND IN that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread and provide our own apparel; only let us be called by your name to take away our reproach of being unmarried." Isaiah 3:16-24, 4:1

Is this curse not what we see on our streets today?  Young girls walking proudly as they use their bodies like a divining rod to allure and compete for a dwindling number of men.  Instead of bearing a crown of glory, the woman's covering is removed leaving her spiritually bare/bald and without discretion (I Corinthians 11:6-15).  The very spirit she walks in declares, "I am fatherless; I have no spiritual covering".  Young women who should be a precious and sweet savor instead become a stench of rottenness.  I am also reminded of the ending text of the Old Testament:

"Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse." Malachi 4:5-6

We need the hearts of the fathers to turn back to the children, so that the hearts of the children can be turned back to the fathers.  We need a restoration of true patriarchy in the hearts of God's people, which is founded in Godly leadership, vision, and self-sacrifice.  When men of God stand and take their rightful place - in the home first, and then in the church - and women of God stand to complement them, we will see a remarkable shift in the children.

Young ladies do not have to "find" a husband.
Don't have to use their bodies to "attract" a man.
Don't have to fornicate in order to "keep" a man.
Don't have to debase themselves in order to "please" a man.

Simply delight yourselves in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart (Psalm 37:4).  The question is, "Do you trust God to do this in your life?  Do you believe that His ways are higher than our ways?  Do you want to have your true value restored and walk in a calling that is worthy of respect or are you satisfied living a sub-standard and lonely life where you are never treasured as the precious gem God created you to be?"  The choice is yours.

I cannot tell anyone how to handle their own households; nor do I believe that there is a one size fits all approach for how we are to raise our daughters. I share this information in the hope that it might prompt some to truly seek God's heart & His ways; not just accept that the ways of the world are what is right or even inevitable.  It doesn't have to be this way for young women.  We can choose to show a different path for our own daughters...and our sons.

I have previously posted videos from Min. Voddie Baucham.  His eldest daughter, Jasmine Baucham, has recently written a book entitled, "Joyfully at Home".   "Joyfully at Home" started out as a blog by Jasmine as she chronicled her experiences and insights in deciding to stay at the home of her father until marriage.  Jasmine was also highlighted in a documentary called, "Return of the Daughters" which interviews various young women who have made similar decisions (an excerpt of which is posted in the video below).

Lastly, here is a word of encouragement for women by Dr. Annie Poonen about interceding for children who may be going down the wrong path called "God Will Save Your Children".  I pray it is a blessing to you.

UPDATE: I have included a sermon from Min. Baucham on "Biblical Womanhood" after the Return of the Daughters clip below.  In this sermon, he discusses:
  • Biblical womanhood is first & foremost reverent in behavior, seeking to bring honor to God and not to herself in everything she does.
  • We are no longer raising women in our culture.  We are raising men who happen to be biologically able to have children.  We are raising women to conduct themselves like men.
  • Fathers are primarily accountable for the way their daughters dress.
  • When dressing, a woman should consider what aspect of her person she is drawing attention to and then consider whether such is pleasing to God.  What a woman draws attention to in her dress is what she considers to be the most valuable thing about her.
  • A young girl's value and worth is not contingent upon men lusting after her.
  • A woman deserves to be honored, respected, and protected.  A woman is not a piece of meat to satisfy the sinful, fleshly desires of a man.  Your price is above rubies.
  • If a man is not decent enough to be attracted to reverent behavior, then you don't want him anyway.
  • A biblical woman who is a teacher of what is good and able to disciple & give instruction to children.
  • There is a Greco-Roman myth which says that love is a random, overwhelming, uncontrollable sensual force; this is often symbolized by cupid.  This is not biblical, but is a faulty, godless definition of love.
  • A wrong definition of love can even make a father uncomfortable in showing affection to his daughter once she starts to develop into a woman.  A number of young girl's yearning for a boyfriend coincides with this break in affection with their father.
  • Biblical womanhood pushes past sensual/emotional love into biblical love.  Love is an act of the will, accompanied by emotion, that leads to selfless action.  This is why Titus 2 tells elder women to teach younger women how to love their husbands and children. Jesus at the Garden of Gethsemane is a prime example of biblical love.
  • Biblical womanhood exercises self-control and is pure.
  • In the world, purity is not having sex before marriage.  According to Scripture, purity is a lifestyle even after marriage.
  • Biblical womanhood focuses on working at home.  This doesn't mean that no work outside of the home occurs, as made clear in Proverbs 31.  It means that the woman's role in her home (as a wife and mother) is her top priority.
  • Most families are doing "wife swap" where the wife goes out to support another man in his business endeavor while another woman (or women) takes responsibility for keeping the home (cleaning, cooking, and caring for the children).
  • Biblical womanhood walks in submission to their husbands.  Women war against submission by nature as a result of the fall.  Feminists like to counter the biblical commands by saying that submission is mutual or conditional; yet this is proven false by Scripture.
